Do you use ChatGPT as a journal? Here's how to keep every detail.

You're the one people ask. They want to know which restaurant it was, when someone's birthday is, who was there, and what you all made that night. You're usually right, and it's a lot to carry around in your head.
Then a friend asks where you had tea with Priya a few weeks ago, and you come up empty. You remember the pistachio macarons and the gilded mirrors. The name of the place is gone, and so is the street.
If you already use ChatGPT or Claude as a journal, you had the right idea. What's left is getting the details back out, weeks later, when you need them.
Ask about your life, and get the details back
An Orbismo world is one place where your AI keeps everything about your life. You connect it to the AI you already use, ChatGPT or Claude, and then you journal the way you do now. When you tell your AI about your day, it stores the people, places, recipes, movies, and dates in your Orbismo world, and you don't have to hold it all in your head anymore.
Ask it any way you remember it. Your AI keeps the who, where, and when of every day, so you can ask by place, by date, by person, or by who was there, and get the whole answer.
It goes wherever you go. Your journal is there in whichever AI you open, ChatGPT or Claude.
You can see it and fix it. Open your world in a browser, and every day is there just as your AI kept it. If something is wrong, tell your AI and it fixes it.
After tea with Priya, you tell your AI about Little Fern on Elm Street and the pistachio macarons. Three weeks later you ask where that tea place was, and your AI tells you, along with the date and who you were with. When your sister's birthday comes around, you take her there and order the pistachio macarons for her.
Every time you watch a movie, you tell your AI, and it asks how you'd rate it. On Friday you ask what you watched last month. Your AI lists every movie with your ratings, including Margin Call with Daniel, and suggests Anatomy of a Fall because you loved Past Lives and Gone Girl. Movie night with Daniel is settled before anyone opens a streaming app.

Book club met in September, and afterward you told your AI that Priya, Jen, and Marcus came and Lena couldn't make it. When it's time to set the next date, you ask who was there. Your AI tells you who came and that Lena missed it, so you send Lena the next date yourself.
Doesn't ChatGPT already remember your journal?
It remembers a lot, and it keeps getting better. ChatGPT's memory draws on your past chats as well as what you ask it to save, and that's part of what makes it a good journaling partner. Your Orbismo world works alongside it. You keep journaling the way you do now, and your AI keeps every day in your Orbismo world, so weeks later you can ask for the café, the date, who came, or the rating you gave, and get the full answer.
Can you start your journal in ChatGPT and pick it up in Claude?
You can, because your journal lives in your Orbismo world and not inside one AI. Sam came over on Saturday, and the two of you made coconut chickpea curry with more ginger than Sam usually uses. After Sam left, you told ChatGPT all about it. A few weeks later you open Claude on your laptop and ask what you cooked with Sam, and it knows the recipe, extra ginger included. You didn't copy anything over.
You pick the AI you like, and your journal follows.
How to start a ChatGPT or Claude journal that keeps every detail
- Start a world at app.orbismo.com. Your first Basic world is free.
- When setting up your world in the Orbismo portal, choose the Personal World Building template. It comes ready for journaling, with movies and books already set up.
- Connect the AI you already use, ChatGPT or Claude. The help site has a short guide for each.
- Say hello, and tell your AI to use your world. In Claude, say "Use Orbismo." In ChatGPT, start your message with @Orbismo. The first time, your AI asks you a few questions, one at a time, starting with your name.
- Tell it about your day. Mention who you saw, where you went, what you ate, and what you watched.
- In a week, ask it something you already know, like where you had lunch on Tuesday.
For an easy voice journal, start a voice conversation in the ChatGPT or Claude app. Ask your AI to use your Orbismo world and help you journal as you talk. Then talk about your day while you walk or cook, and your AI stores it as you go.
You've always been the friend who remembers. Now your AI keeps the details, so you can keep showing up for the people you love.
Start your world, choose Personal World Building, and tell your AI about today.
